The Perfect Storm

There are many over-lapping of events over the next twenty years that will challenge economies, some say the collapse of the U.S. economy is imminent.

These are the corresponding realities involved in the “perfect storm”.

  1. The aging population- the Baby Boomer Bubble
  2. The Obesity Epidemic- Metabolic Syndrome leading to Type 2 Diabetes
  3. The steady increase in Health Care costs.
  4. The increasing shortages in Nursing, Medicine and the supporting disciplines
  5. The growing apathy regarding energy consumption and consumerism.
  6. The Peak Oil Crisis
  7. Lack of Public Health Infrastructures and Disaster Preparedness…potential pandemic Flu or other
  8. The attachment to “BIG CARBON” in the sense of entitlement towards living “the good life” and apathy of ultimate and long term consequences.
  9. The multi-faceted consequences of Global warming inlcluding but not limted to
  10. The Water Crisis
  11. The Food Crisis
  12. The Credit and mortgage crisis ( here now but deepening daily)
